Teochew "Hee", Hokkien "Guah"

It's been some time since I last watched a movie with my family the recent local film called "881" about 歌台 during our "Hungry Ghost Festival" was a good one to watch with my Mom. The sense of familiarity was obvious as classic Hokkien songs were sung and the jokes in dialect lapped up eagerly. Even though my younger sister found it hard to understand the humour at times, the translators still did a very good job with the subtitles and she was never lost or misunderstood anything.

All in all, it was pretty well done and very much enjoyable. If you understand Hokkien, even better. I give it 7.5/10
