Dizzy~~

Firstly, an important update: I've terminated my Singapore Starhub line and as of now, do not own any Singapore telephone number. Nor do I plan to anytime in the near future (near being 2 months). Therefore, should you feel the inclination to contact me, the only available routes currently would be my UK no: +44-7733326288, msn, email or skype. (INSTALL SKYPE ALREADY)

Feeling dizzy now as I only managed to catch 2 hours worth of sleep from 7-9am thanks to my late night study/work on fluid mechanics and others. Come look into the whirlpools of my eyes and feel faint along with me. XP

Today marks the start of Enquiry Based Learning (EBL) week for my course as well. We basically have to work in groups of 6-8 and build from scratch a rocket model that can safely deliver a payload of a raw egg after being shot into the air by means of a hydraulic pump. THink we're supposed to let the pressure build up to 100psi before shooting it off. Pray for me and wish me luck. I'm going to need all of it and more to pass this project. *says a quick prayer meself*

Sunday night was also a memorable night. It was the closest case of racial violence I've encountered. Good thing it broke up before anything ugly ensued or the authorities got involved. Coming from Singapore, harmony among the races just gets taken for granted sometimes and this incident pushes home the point of how fortunate Singaporeans are to be able to have the luxury of not noticing it anymore! As a young nation, we must never forget how hard our fore-fathers strived to acheive this homogeneous yet ethnically diverse society in a amazingly short amount of time. Just 2 generations! It is something we should be proud of and protect zealously (just not insanely :P) as the world has shown, it's a very fragile thing, this peace among different races. In most other countries, sadly, this is simply not the case. Yet, I hope. As all peace loving person in the world must hope.

It's amazing what can set off homesickness sometimes. This time, it isn't Chicken Rice or Roti Prata or Bar Chor Mee or Mee Goreng or Kambing Soup but... SUSHI!!! Home-made ones at that. Hahaha. This pic my fren sent me really set off a bout of longing for home... Amusing how it's Japanese food that triggered it.
